Our Guest speaker on 20 May will be Mr. Pierre Ouimet, Executive Director and Head Investment Strategist, Canadian Equities, UBS Bank. His topic will be “ Opportunities in a Post-Pandemic World.”

Overview

Pierre is the Head Investment Strategist for UBS Bank (Canada) - Wealth Management on our Canadian equity strategies and Asset Allocation. As Chair of the Canadian Asset Mix Committee, Pierre has responsibility for top-down macro inputs to our investment management process.   

Prior, Pierre was Head of UBS Global Asset Management's Canadian Equities and was responsible for research and portfolio construction activity in the Canadian market as well as overall asset allocation. In this role he was the lead portfolio manager for large-cap portfolios.   

Pierre holds a BAA from the University of Montreal and an MBA with a specialty in finance from McGill University.
